No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked British Lions (5-6) won against on the road 9th ranked Italian Trento (2-9) 84-70 on Wednesday. Lions had a 32-19 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American forward Sam Dekker (204-1994, college: Wisconsin) who had a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds. His fellow American import point guard Jordan Taylor (187-1989, college: Wisconsin, agency: Pensack Sports) chipped in 11 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. Five Lions players scored in double figures. American forward Darion Atkins (203-1992, college: Virginia) produced 13 points and 9 rebounds and guard Matteo Spagnolo (193-2003) added 13 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Trento's coach rotated ten players and allowed the starting five to rest. Lions maintains seventh place with 5-6 record, which they share with Brescia. Trento lost third consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with nine games lost. They share it with Cedevita Ol.. Lions will meet at home league's leader Gran Canaria in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Trento will play against Paris (#5) and hope to secure a win.
