Regular Season Round 14: Trento - Turk Telekom 72-80

Everything went according to plan when second ranked Turkish Turk Telekom (10-4) beat on the road 9th ranked Italian Trento (2-12) 80-72 on Tuesday. Turk Telekom made 21-of-23 free shots (91.3 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American guard Jerian Grant (196-1992, college: Notre Dame) who scored 26 points and 5 assists (was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line !!!). French forward Axel Bouteille (201-1995, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 12 points. Turk Telekom's coach used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Argentinian-Italian point guard Andres Forray (188-1986) produced 18 points and 7 assists and Diego Flaccadori (193-1996) added 18 points and 7 assists (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) respectively for the hosts. Five Turk Telekom and four Trento players scored in double figures. Turk Telekom keeps a position of league leader, which they share with H.Tel-Aviv and Prometey. Trento lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with 12 games lost. Turk Telekom will meet at home Promitheas (#4) in the next round. Trento will play against the league's leader Gran Canaria (#1) in Las Palmas and hope to secure a win.
