Rather expected game when 10th ranked Slovenian Cedevita Ol. (3-14) was edged on the road by seventh ranked Italian Brescia (8-9) 84-82 on Tuesday. Brescia looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Kenny Gabriel (205-1989, college: Auburn) who scored 13 points and 9 rebounds. Amedeo Della Valle (192-1993, college: Ohio St., agency: SLN) chipped in 11 points and 6 assists. American point guard Yogi Ferrell (183-1993, college: Indiana) produced 18 points and 8 assists (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) and the other American import guard Josh Adams (188-1993, college: Wyoming) added 19 points respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Brescia moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Bourg. Cedevita Ol. lost their fourth game in a row. Defending Slovenian champion dropped to the ninth position with 14 games lost. They share it with Trento. Brescia will meet Bursaspor (#8) on the road in the next round. Cedevita Ol. will play against JL Bourg and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
