Regular Season Round 2: Slask - Cluj Napoca 67-70

Everything went according to plan in Wroclaw where Romanian Cluj Napoca edged Polish WKS Slask 70-67 on Wednesday. Cluj Napoca forced 19 WKS Slask turnovers. The best player for the winners was American DJ Seeley (193-1989, college: CS Fullerton) who scored 24 points and 5 rebounds. The other American import point guard Bryce Jones (183-1994, college: Murray St.) chipped in 10 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Jones is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Cluj Napoca's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Forward Jakub Niziol (201-1996, college: Cal Poly) produced 18 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) and Serbian center Dusan Miletic (213-1998) added 6 points, 8 rebounds and 5 blocks respectively for the hosts. Cluj Napoca will meet JL Bourg on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. WKS Slask will play against Buducnost in Podgorica and hope to win that game.
