There was a small surprise when Polish Gdynia outleveled at home Swiss Fribourg 77-47 on Wednesday. Gdynia dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Fribourg's 24. Gdynia forced 19 Fribourg turnovers and outrebounded them 42-28 including 16 on the offensive glass. American guard Rennia Davis (188-1999, college: Tennessee) had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Lithuanian power forward Laura Miskiniene-Svaryte (190-1992) chipped in 17 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Coach 's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 11 players saving starting five for next games. Ukrainian center Miriam Uro-Nilie (188-1994, agency: LBM Management) responded with 21 points and 5 rebounds and Belgian point guard Marjorie Carpreaux (165-1987, agency: LBM Management) scored 2 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Gdynia will meet Emlak in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Fribourg will play against Roche in La Roche and hope to win that game.
