The game between closely ranked teams ended with French BLMA's road victory over Spanish Gernika 70-69 on Thursday. Belgian center Kyara Linskens (193-1996, agency: LBM Management) scored 18 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Mamignan Toure (183-1994) chipped in 17 points during the contest. American forward Crystal Bradford (183-1993, college: CMU) responded with 15 points and 9 rebounds and British-Lithuanian Gabby Nikitinaite (180-1998, college: SIUE) scored 10 points. BLMA will meet Ramat Hasharon on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Gernika will play against Sosnowiec and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
