Another exciting game for French undefeated Paris Basket (4-0) which played in London against their biggest opponent British Lions (3-1). Top-ranked Paris Basket won 106-102. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Lions. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Paris Basket forced 20 Lions turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American-North Macedonian point guard TJ Shorts (175-1997, college: UC Davis) who helped to win the game recording 24 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals and Algerian-French guard Nadir Hifi (190-2002) who added 20 points during the contest. Shorts is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Paris Basket's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. At the losing side American forward Sam Dekker (204, college: Wisconsin) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and center Gabriel Olaseni (208, college: Iowa) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Paris Basket have a solid three-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Gran Canaria. Lions at the other side keep the second place with one game lost. They share the position with 4 other teams. Paris Basket will play against Prometey (#5) in Kamianske in the next round. Lions will play on the road against the league's second-placed Hapoel Tel-Aviv in Tel Aviv and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
