Rather expected game in Barreiro where Portuguese GDESSA (0-3) was defeated by Belgian Castors Braine (2-1) 71-63 on Wednesday. Castors Braine outrebounded GDESSA 35-15 including a 27-11 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Victaria Saxton (188-1999, college: S.Carolina) who had a double-double by scoring 12 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists. Forward Ine Joris (187-2001) chipped in 15 points.
