Regular Season Round 3: Roche - Fribourg 101-68

French Roche smashed Swiss Fribourg in La Roche 101-68. They dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Fribourg's 28. Roche forced 28 Fribourg turnovers and outrebounded them 54-33 including a 25-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for Moroccan-French Sarah Ousfar (183-1993) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists. Point guard Louise Preneau (178-2003) helped adding 20 points and 7 rebounds. The best for the losing side was Canadian center Abigail Fogg (196-1994, college: S.Dakota) with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds and Belgian point guard Marjorie Carpreaux (165-1987, agency: LBM Management) scored 11 points and 7 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Fribourg will play next round against strong Emlak trying to get back on the winning streak. Roche will try to continue on its current victory against Gdynia on the road.
