Regular Season Round 3: Chomutov - Estudiantes 66-70

No shocking result in a game when Spanish Estudiantes (3-0) won against on the road Czech Chomutov (0-3) 70-66 on Thursday. They outrebounded Chomutov 46-30 including a 32-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was Australian guard Marena Whittle (180-1994, college: NDSU, agency: LBM Management) who had a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds. Dutch forward Kourtney Treffers (187-1994, agency: LBM Management) chipped in 13 points and 8 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Najai Pollard (180-1997, college: Delaware St.) who recorded 16 points and 8 rebounds and Anna Rylichova (174-1999) added 12 points and 4 assists respectively. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Estudiantes will meet at home Sassari in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Chomutov will play against Atomeromu and hopes to get finally their first victory.
