Not a big story in a game in Ankara where 9th ranked TurkishTurk Telekom (1-5) was defeated by top-ranked Spanish Gran Canaria (6-0) 82-69 on Wednesday. Gran Canaria looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American-Austrian swingman Sylven Landesberg (198-1990, college: Virginia) scored 20 points to lead the charge for the winners and Argentinian Nicolas Brussino (205-1993) chipped in 8 points and 7 assists during the contest. Gran Canaria's coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was Armenian-American center Steven Enoch (208-1997, college: Louisville) with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds and American guard Jalen Adams (191-1995, college: UConn, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 15 points and 4 assists. Four Turk Telekom players scored in double figures. Gran Canaria have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 6-0 record, which they share with Paris. Turk Telekom lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with five games lost.
