Everything went according to plan in Thessaloniki where TurkishTurk Telekom beat Greek Aris Midea 68-63 on Wednesday. Turk Telekom outrebounded Aris Midea 42-30 including 17 on the offensive glass. The best player for the winners was Canadian center Kyle Alexander (208-1996, college: Tennessee) who had a double-double by scoring 12 points and 14 rebounds. American Anthony Brown (199-1992, college: Stanford) chipped in 17 points and 6 rebounds. Four Turk Telekom players scored in double figures. American forward Josh Roberts (205-1999, college: Manhattan) produced 14 points and 9 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and his fellow American import guard Landers Nolley II (201-2000, college: Cincinnati) added 13 points and 4 assists respectively for the hosts. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game.
