Kenneth Lofton Jr. gets MVP of the Week award for EuroCup (by Hoops Agents)

American Kenneth Lofton Jr. (198-PF-2002) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for league's second-best Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 3.
The 24-year old power forward had the game-high 28 points adding six rebounds for H.Jerusalem in his team's victory, helping them to edge out Burgos SP (#6, 1-2) 85-84. Hapoel Jerusalem maintains the 2nd position in EuroCup . They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but H.Jerusalem already had a very good start winning all 3 without losing a single one. In the team's last game Lofton Jr. had a remarkable 75.0% from 2-point range. He turned to be Hapoel Jerusalem's top player in his first season with the team. Louisiana Tech University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Lofton Jr. is in league's top in points (3rd best: 20.3ppg) and averages solid 54.5% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American power forward Joel Scott (201-PF-2001, agency: Pensack Sports) of London Lions. Scott impressed basketball fans with 16 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Bad luck as Lions lost that game 76-81 to Frankfurt (2-1). The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Scott is well-known by London fans and he already established his position as one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was Belgian Ismael Bako (208-C-1995) of Turk Telekom Ankara (#5). Bako scored 16 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Despite Bako's great performance the Turk Telekom lost 65-75 to Venezia (#1, 2-1). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Turk Telekom not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 2 games, recording just one victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Bako could try to bring Turk Telekom's a little bit higher in the standings. Bako has individually a great season in EuroCup. After only 3 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 8.7rpg (6th best).
