Quarterfinals

Bulgaria - Czech Republic 81-54
Bulgaria coasted past Czech Republic in the quarterfinal clash. Bulgaria recorded a 38-25 halftime lead. They poured in 43 points in the second half and eased to the win. Ivaylo Skrinski (184-PG-2007, agency: Octagon Europe) and Daniel Hinkov (190-G-2007) tossed in 16 points each for the winners. Marek Volf (195-SF-2007) answered with 20 points for Czech Republic.

Estonia - Georgia 66-79
Georgia outscored Estonia to advance into the semifinal stage in Pitesti. Estonia recorded a 24-11 lead after ten minutes. But Georgia responded with a strong 51-31 second half rally to seal the win. Avtandil Bakhtadze (204-F/C-2007) scored 16 points and grabbed 13 rebounds for the winners. Oliver Kullamaee (185-G-2007) replied with 13 points for Estonia.

Croatia - Slovakia 85-35
Croatia cruised past Slovakia in the quarterfinal clash. Croatia registered a 53-12 halftime lead. They did not look back en route to the victory in the second half. Borna Katanovic (197-SF-2006) scored 17 points to lead the charge. Maros Golian (202-PF-2007) replied with 12 points and 11 rebounds for Slovakia.

Romania - Hungary 83-73
Romania needed overtime to tame Hungary in the quarterfinal clash. Romania opened a 3-point lead at the big break. But Hungary managed to force extra period. Romania though went on a 10-0 run in overtime to snatch the win. Codrut-Alexander Dinu (187-PG-2007) stepped up with 28 points and 16 rebounds for the winners. Peter Rosta (206-PF-2007) answered with 21 points and 15 rebounds for Hungary.
