win Serbia already booked a ticket for the Qualifying Round. They will meet
Belgium today for the first place in this pool. Ukraine dropped to 0-2 and will
play against Italy. It will be a do-or-die game for both teams.

rebounds.

against Slovakia in do-or-die game today.

this pool. Slovakia dropped to 0-2. They will meet Czech Republic in do-or-die
game.

Preliminary Group A. Except of Romania and Russia, participants of the same pool
are also Sweden and Turkey.
Sonia Ursu (175-G/F-93) was the leading player in victory with 20 points and
8 rebounds.
Oana Baluta (184-C/F-93) had double-double of 10 points and 10 rebounds,
while
Hanna Demeter (183-F-94) helped with 8 pts. In the loosing squad,

Another exciting game was played in Day One in Oradea. Sweden managed to beat
Turkey 66-64 for 1-0 record in Preliminary Group A of the U18 EuroBasket.
Earlier in the opening day, Romania grabbed 52-50 thriller win against Russia.
These four teams are participants of Group A. Three of them will book a spot for
the next stage.

advance to the Qualifying Round.

winners.
Elena De Alfredo (170-F-94) (5 rebs) and
Inmaculada Zanoguera (183-F-93) helped with 12 points each. All Spanish
