Serbia improved to a 4-0 record beating Ireland 90-47 in Group B. Serbia dominated the whole game and closed it with a massive 30-7 surge. Nevena Rosic (175-G-03) stepped up with 22 points and Jovana Boricic (177-SF-03) netted 13. Jovana Spasovski (183-SF-04) brought 12, whilst Anja Bukvic (174-G/F-03) added 11. Lucy Coogan (180-F-04) answered with 18 points in the losing effort.
Spain - Greece 69-38
Spain is on top of Group C with a 4-0 record beating Greece 69-38. Spain won all the quarters of the game including the decisive 18-8 in the last stanza. Ines Noguero (180-G-04) and Carla Brito (180-F-04) top-scored for the winners with 10 points each, whilst Maria Galiana (187-C-03) had 9. Vasiliki Daskoulidou (179-G/F-03) ended up with 9 points for Greek side and Lamprini Polymeni (175-G-03) posted 8.
Slovenia - Bulgaria 59-51
Slovenia edged Bulgaria 59-51 at the Triaditza Hall. Zala Srot (184-F-04) top-scored for the winners with 16 points and Sara Sambolic (172-PG-04) notched 11. Blaza Ceh (181-PG-03) followed them with 9 and Tara Pulevic scored 6. Mikaela Damyanova ended up with 14 points in a loss and Iliyana Georgieva delivered 13.
Russia - Germany 60-64
Germany pip Russia 64-60 in Riga. Everything looked fine for Germany in the first half and after a 21-12 run in the third period. Russia however erupted with a 23-9 surge in the last stanza and almost won the game. Frieda Buehner (184-F-04) top-scored for the winners with 19 points and Lena Dziuba (187-SF-03) had 11. Noreen Stoeckle (180-G-04) produced 10, whilst Nicole Brochlitz (171-PG-04) had 7. Sofia Liulina (181-F-04) answered with 21 points in a loss and Lidiya Malakhova (184-F-03) notched 11.
Czech Republic - Turkey 60-59
Czech Republic topped Turkey 60-59 as Ayse Yilmaz (171-PG-03) managed to tie the score at the end, however scored one free throw out of two. Nikola Zdenkova (169-G-03) stepped up with 14 points for the winners and Charlotte Velichova (176-G-04) netted 13. Anna Chroma (182-SG-03) followed them with 11 points in a win. Selin Gul (184-PF-03), Berfin Sertoglu (171-PG-04) and Deniz Torut answered with 9 points each in a loss.
Slovakia - Israel 64-76
Israel closed Saturday actions with a 76-64 win over Slovakia. Tamara Singer (166-G-04) was unstoppable with 20 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Amit Terner (177-F-04) netted 15 and Alis Hatokay (03) had 13. Nina Janstova (189-C-04) collected 16 points and 12 rebounds in defeat, Terezia Kraislova (174-G-03) poured in 15 and Emma Dulovicova (168-PG-03) scored 12.
North Macedonia - Albania 61-49
North Macedonia edged Albania 61-49 in Group D. The decisive was the third period where North Macedonia needed a 21-6 surge to seal the win. Marija Dimitrijevikj and Iva Cholakoska (180-SF-03) stepped up with 14 points each, whilst Stefanija Cvetanoska and Martina Blazhevska (183-C-04) netted 6 apiece. Brikena Mucenji (180-F-05) replied with 23 points in a loss.
Croatia - Romania 88-49
Croatia remained undefeated smashing Romania 88-49 in Riga. Romania improved to a 4-0 record starting the game with 30-5 surge. Nika Lokica (178-G-03) top-scored for the winners with 17 points and Hana Muhl (175-G-03) as well as Magdalena Mihaljevic (176-F/G-03) had 15 each. Anisia Croitoru (187-C-03) replied with 18 points in the losing effort.
Lithuania - Hungary 75-71
Lithuania outscored Hungary 75-71. The Baltic side managed to show the strong first half and survived with a 4-point win due to that. Juste Jocyte (184-SF-05) was unstoppable with 30 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists. Gerda Raulusaityte (185-C-04) netted 13 and Dominyka Gerkyte (172-G-03) scored 10. Boglarka Katona (185-F-04) answered with 15 points in a loss and Petra Kuncz (180-G/F-03) as well as Sara Laczko poured in 9 each.
France - Poland 83-36
France demolished Poland 83-36 in Heraklion. France grabbed a 4-0 record on top with a win in each period of the game. Maia Hirsch (193-PF-03, agency: Basket Promotion Agency) stepped up with 15 points and 12 rebounds, whilst Palmire Mbu (185-PF-03) and Rosanne Le Seyec (195-C-04) added 12 apiece. Marta Sztaberska (174-G-03) scored 8 for Poland, whilst Agata Gilmajster (171-SG-04) and Aleksandra Maria Zukowska had 7 each.
Ukraine - Switzerland 55-58
Switzerland tied Ukraine in Group D at 2-2 records beating them 58-55 in overtime. Ukraine managed to tie the game after a 9-4 run in the fourth period, however the Swiss side posted a final 14-11 rally to seal the win. Enza Germanier (165-G-03) and Stephanie Martinez (172-G-04) top-scored for the winners with 15 points each. Olena Vitkovska (181-F-03) scored 16 in a loss, whilst Tetiana Tkachenko (187-C-04) nailed 13.
Latvia - Portugal 56-48
Latvia handed Portugal their first loss after a 56-48 win in Riga. Trailing 9-13 at the end of the first period, the hosts erupted with a massive 21-9 run in the second frame. Marta Leimane (181-F-03) stepped up with 12 points and Liva Krumina (184-SF-03) delivered 9. Ana Furtado had 12 in a loss, whilst Gabriela Falcao (183-F-04) notched 11.
