Bulgaria - Slovakia 64-60
Bulgaria outscored Slovakia to improve at 2-0 record in Group D. The hosts dominated in the first half taking a 42-31 halftime lead. Slovakia managed to cut the deficit at 3-point mark heading into the fourth term. Bulgaria limited their opponents to just 10 points in the final stanza and raced to the win. Denitsa Manolova (172-G-2006) notched 21 points and 13 rebounds in the victory. Maria Stefancova (175-SG-2006) netted 14 points for Slovakia.

Sweden - Ukraine 72-74
Ukraine nipped Sweden to improve at 1-1 record in Group D. They grabbed a 24-14 lead after ten minutes. Ukraine then used a 20-14 run in the third period to open an 8-point lead. Sweden pulled within striking distance in the fourth stanza but could not avoid the loss. Elina Syniakova (185-F-2006) delivered 21 points, while Serafyma Tykha (172-SG-2006) added 19 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists for Ukraine. Tiffany Barbosa (176-G-2005) replied with 23 points and 7 steals for Sweden.

Iceland - Holland 75-44
Iceland outgunned Netherlands for the second straight win in Sofia. Iceland recorded a 28-24 halftime lead. They followed with a 28-10 run in the third term to clear off for good. Agnes Jonudottir (182-F-2005) delivered 21 points for Iceland. Phoenix Stotijn (173-G-2005) chipped in 10 points for Netherlands.

Croatia - Denmark 91-39
Croatia opened win count in Group A. They knocked down Denmark in the opener. Croatia went on a 25-8 run in the second period to clear off. They added 46 points in the second half and coasted to the win. Nina Novak (172-G-2005) delivered 18 points, while Lucija Banovic (183-SF-2005) added 15 points for Croatia. Freya Jensen (178-F-2006) answered with 11 points for Denmark.
