Albania opened win count at the tournament. They outscored Armenia for 1-1 record in Group B. Albania secured a 34-24 halftime lead. They held Armenia to just 8 points in the fourth quarter to race to the win. Martina Haxhiu (181-F-2006) scored 20 points and grabbed 26 rebounds, while Dhimitra Angjelakidhu (170-PG-2006) added 14 points for Albania. Seda Gabrielyan (167-G-2007) netted 21 points for Armenia.

Cyprus - Kosovo 54-61
Kosovo topped Cyprus to win their first game in Prishtina. The hosts grabbed a 38-29 halftime lead. They held Cyprus to just 25 points in the second half and secured the first win at the tournament. Flutra Mehmeti (178-SF-2006) tallied 11 points and 13 rebounds, while Klea Gashi (167-PG-2008) added 12 points for Kosovo. Dimitra Eftychiou (171-G-2007) answered with 12 points for Cyprus.

Azerbaijan - Georgia 74-68
Azerbaijan recorded the second straight win in Prishtina. They defeated Georgia for 2-0 record atop of Group B. Georgia secured a 46-37 halftime advantage. But Azerbaijan used an 18-8 run in the third term to surge ahead. They finished the game strong to eke out a tough win. Silan Akbingol (180-F-2007) came up with 19 points and 11 rebounds for Azerbaijan. Nitsa Sabadashvili (C-2008) chipped in 16 points for Georgia.
