Very expected game when 8th ranked ItalianDolomiti Trentino (3-7) lost to second ranked Spanish Gran Canaria (8-2) in Trento 70-81 on Tuesday. Gran Canaria forced 21 Trento turnovers. American swingman Caleb Homesley (198-1996, college: Liberty) notched 15 points to lead the effort and American-Slovenian center Mike Tobey (213-1994, college: Virginia) supported him with 11 points and 6 rebounds. Gran Canaria's coach used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 17 points and 4 assists by American guard Jordan Ford (185-1998, college: SMC) did not help to save the game for Trento . His fellow American import forward Anthony Lamb (198-1998, college: Vermont) added 16 points and 5 rebounds for lost side. Gran Canaria have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 8-2 record behind leader Valencia. Trento lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with seven games lost. They share the position with Joventut.
