There was a minor upset in Ljubljana where second-best SlovenianCedevita Ol. (7-5) was defeated by sixth ranked Turkish Turk Telekom (7-5) 80-74 on Wednesday. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Turk Telekom made 8 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of French power forward Yoan Makoundou (207-2000) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 6 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and American point guard Kenneth Smith (191-1993, college: La Tech) who added 14 points and 8 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was American forward Devin Robinson (203-1995, college: Florida) with 23 points and 7 rebounds and his fellow American import DJ Stewart Jr (197-1999, college: MSU) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds. Cedevita Ol.'s coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Turk Telekom have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated Cedevita Ol. .
