There was no surprise when 9th ranked GermanHamburg Towers (3-10) were outleveled on the road by sixth ranked Romanian Cluj Napoca (7-5) 104-83 on Friday. Cluj Napoca shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 54.5 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Hamburg 's players. French Adam Mokoka (195-1998) nailed 19 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winning side and American DJ Seeley (193-1989, college: CS Fullerton) accounted for 15 points and 7 assists. South Sudanese-American power forward Kur Kuath (208-1998, college: Marquette) came up with 14 points and 7 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and American point guard Brae Ivey (187-1997, college: SJSU, agency: LHZ Sport Agency) added 10 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Hamburg in the defeat. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Defending Romanian champion moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Cedevita Ol. Loser Hamburg Towers keeps the ninth position with ten games lost. They share it with Aris Midea.
