There was a surprise result when GermanChemnitz outscored at home Lithuanian Lietkabelis 86-67 on Wednesday. Chemnitz made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American swingman Ty Brewer (201-2000, college: UAB) who scored 19 points. Ivorian-German forward Kevin Yebo (207-1996) chipped in 13 points and 6 rebounds. Four Chemnitz players scored in double figures. Estonian point guard Kristian Kullamaee (193-1999) produced 13 points and 6 rebounds and Paulius Danusevicius (205-2001) added 7 points and 12 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
