Regular Season Round 2: Bourg - Turk Telekom 88-80

There was no surprise when TurkishTurk Telekom was defeated on the road by French JL Bourg 88-80 on Wednesday. Strangely Turk Telekom outrebounded Bourg 36-22 including 23 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was American point guard Darius McGhee (175-1999, college: Liberty) who scored 21 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. American-South Sudanese swingman Both Gach (201-1999, college: Utah) chipped in 21 points. Four JL Bourg players scored in double figures. Montenegrin power forward Marko Simonovic (213-1999) produced a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) and point guard Dogus Ozdemiroglu (191-1996) added 14 points, 5 rebounds, 8 assists and 6 steals respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
