Everything went according to plan when second ranked TurkishTurk Telekom (5-2) outplayed 9th ranked Lithuanian Lietkabelis (1-6) in Panevezys 100-74 on Wednesday. Turk Telekom dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Lietkabelis ' 34. Turk Telekom looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 17 passes made by Lietkabelis ' players. It was an exceptional evening for point guard Dogus Ozdemiroglu (191-1996) who led the winners and scored 19 points, 6 assists and 5 steals. American Jordan Usher (201-1998, college: Georgia Tech) accounted for 19 points and 6 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winning side. Four Turk Telekom players scored in double figures. American power forward Augustine Rubit (203-1989, college: USA) came up with 20 points and 5 rebounds and Estonian point guard Kristian Kullamaee (193-1999) added 10 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Lietkabelis in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Turk Telekom have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain second place with 5-2 record behind leader Bourg, which they share with 4 other teams. Lietkabelis lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with six games lost. They share it with Panionios.
