There was no surprise in Istanbul where bottom-ranked GermanHamburg Towers (0-12) were crushed by second ranked Turkish Bahcesehir (8-4) 105-68 on Tuesday. Bahcesehir dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Hamburg Towers 's 44 and made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Hamburg 40-29 including 27 on the defensive glass. Bahcesehir looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Hamburg 's players. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Bahcesehir maintains second position with 8-4 record having just two points less than leader Bourg, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Hamburg Towers still closes the standings with 12 games lost.
