Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both fifth ranked SpanishBAXI Manresa and 6th ranked Greek Aris had identical 6-6 record. This time BAXI Manresa used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Thessaloniki 113-99 on Tuesday night. Manresa shot 62.1 percent from the field and made 17-of-18 free shots (94.4 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Aris ' players. Belgian-Nigerian guard Retin Obasohan (191-1993, college: Alabama) nailed 18 points and 6 assists for the winning side and Uruguayan guard Agustin Ubal (198-2003) accounted for 14 points and 4 assists. French Amine Noua (202-1997) came up with 23 points and 8 rebounds and American point guard Bryce Jones (183-1994, college: Murray St.) added 27 points (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) respectively for Aris in the defeat. Five Manresa and four Aris players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Manresa (7-6) moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 4 other teams. Aris at the other side dropped to the seventh position with seven games lost. They share it with Neptunas.
