There was a surprise result when sixteenth ranked GermanChemnitz (8-7) defeated at home higher ranked French JL Bourg (11-4) 88-82 on Tuesday. Chemnitz made 25-of-32 free shots (78.1 percent) during the game, while Bourg only scored eight points from the stripe. It was a great evening for American point guard Corey Davis (186-1997, college: Houston) who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points and 7 assists. Mali forward Amadou Sow (206-1998, college: UCSB) helped adding 16 points and 8 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American-South Sudanese swingman Both Gach (201-1999, college: Utah) with 17 points and 6 rebounds and American-Filipino Tajuan Agee (206-1997, college: Iona) scored 13 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. JL Bourg's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Chemnitz moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Venezia and Cluj Napoca. Bourg at the other side still keeps top position with four games lost. They share it with Besiktas.
