The game between closely ranked teams ended with 4th placed RomanianCluj Napoca 's (8-7) road loss to third ranked Slovenian Cedevita Ol. (10-5) 80-86 on Tuesday. Cedevita Ol. forced 23 Cluj Napoca turnovers. It was a great evening for American DJ Stewart Jr (197-1999, college: MSU) who led his team to a victory scoring 25 points and 6 rebounds. point guard Aleksej Nikolic (191-1995) helped adding 24 points. The best for the losing side was Serbian center Dusan Miletic (213-1998) with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 13 rebounds and 7 assists and American point guard Daron Russell (180-1998, college: Maryland) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 assists. Four Cluj Napoca players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Defending Slovenian champion moved-up to second place, which they share with Turk Telekom and Bahcesehir. Defending Romanian champion Cluj Napoca dropped to the fifth position with seven games lost. They share it with Venezia and Chemnitz.
