There was a small surprise when tenth ranked GreekPanionios (3-13) edged 8th ranked British Lions (5-11) in Athens 79-78 on Wednesday. Panionios made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. The winners were led by American point guard Brandon Taylor (178-1994, college: Utah, agency: Octagon Europe) who scored that evening 20 points and 7 assists and the other American import center Nate Watson (208-1998, college: Providence, agency: Octagon Europe) supported him with 10 points and 9 rebounds. Even 16 points and 6 assists by American point guard Shavar Reynolds Jr (188-1998, college: Monmouth, agency: Octagon Europe) did not help to save the game for London . American-British guard Tarik Phillip (191-1993, college: WVU, agency: Diamond Sports) added 16 points for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Panionios moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Lietkabelis. London lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with 11 games lost.
