They edged their Serbian archrivals Crvena Zvezda to clinch the trophy tonight. Davis Bertans (203-SF-92) and Leo Westermann (198-G-92, agency: Beo Basket) came up with 15 points each to lead Partizan. Partizan opened the game on a 7:0 run but Crvena Zvezda were quick to respond. They strongly finished the quarter to take an 18:14 lead. Partizan regained the lead early in the second frame. However Igor Rakocevic (191-G-78) and Rasko Katic (208-C-80, agency: Beo Basket) gave Crvena Zvezda a 27:22 lead. Savovic capped the half with a bucket as Crvena Zvezda gained a 32:25 lead. Partizan made their push midway through the third quarter. Leo Westermann ignited a 10:0 run as Partizan accumulated a 45:38 lead. They secured a 50:45 advantage heading into the fourth period. Bogdanovic made it 53:45 early in the final frame. Igor Rakocevic tried to keep Crvena Zvezda within striking distance but Leo Westermann and Lauvergne maintained the lead for Partizan. Lauvergne made it 67:57 for Partizan within the final two minutes. Crvena Zvezda failed to get within threatening distance as Partizan marched to the victory at the end. Dejan Musli (213-C-91, agency: Beo Basket) netted 9 points, while Bogdanovic added 8 points in the winning effort. Rasko Katic answered with 19 points for Crvena Zvezda. Igor Rakocevic and DeMarcus Nelson (193-G-85, college: Duke) had 14 points apiece in the loss.
