Regular Season Round 3: Igokea - Un.Olimpija 73-72

A very close game took place in Aleksandrovac between Bosnian Igokea and Slovenia Un.Olimpija. Igokea (2-1) got a very close home victory over Un.Olimpija (0-2). Igokea managed to escape with a 1-point win 73-72 on Friday evening. Un.Olimpija was trailing by 3 points at halftime but managed to get 1-point lead after three quarters before a 20-18 charge of Igokea, which allowed them to win the game. They made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. It was an exceptional evening for American point guard James Robinson (190-94, college: Pittsburgh) who led the winners and scored 16 points. Serbian guard Vuk Radivojevic (196-83) accounted for 7 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side. Serbian Nikola Jankovic (207-94, agency: BeoBasket) came up with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds and American Devin Oliver (204-92, college: Dayton) added 11 points and 12 rebounds respectively for Un.Olimpija in the defeat. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Igokea will meet FMP (#5) in the next round. Un.Olimpija will play against Mornar Bar (#10) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
