Regular Season Round 14: Un.Olimpija - Mega Leks 82-69

No shocking result in a game in Ljubljana where seventh ranked Slovenian Un.Olimpija (6-8) defeated 10th ranked Serbian Mega Leks (4-10) 82-69 on Sunday. Strangely Mega Leks outrebounded Un.Olimpija 33-21. The best player for the winners was swingman Gregor Hrovat (196-94) who scored 17 points and 4 assists. Serbian Nikola Jankovic (207-94, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 19 points (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!). Four Un.Olimpija players scored in double figures. Un.Olimpija's coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Slovenian Vlatko Cancar (201-97, agency: BeoBasket) produced 22 points and 7 rebounds and Montenegrin power forward Radosav Spasojevic (204-92, agency: BeoBasket) added 13 points respectively for the guests. Un.Olimpija have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain seventh position with 6-8 record. Mega Leks lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the tenth place with ten games lost. Un.Olimpija will face Krka (#8) in Novo Mesto in the next round. Mega Leks will play at home against FMP and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
