The game with biggest result difference took place in Beograd. Local Partizan (16-8) outscored 14th ranked Croatian Zadar (7-17) 85-50 on Wednesday night. The game without a history. Partizan led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Partizan outrebounded Zadar 33-13 including a 12-0 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was Czech forward Jan Vesely (211-90) who scored 15 points and 4 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Australian center Nathan Jawai (207-86, college: Midland CC) chipped in 10 points and 6 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was swingman Marko Car (188-85) who recorded 19 points and 5 assists and guard Pavle Marcinkovic (197-89) added 6 points and 6 rebounds respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending Serbian champion moved-up to second place, which they share with Union Olimpija. Loser Zadar stay at the bottom position with 17 games lost. Partizan will face KK Zagreb CO (#4) on the road in the next round. Zadar will play against Hemofarm (#8) in Vrsac.
