The game was mostly controlled by Partizan. Helios was better in third quarter 17-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Helios 39-20 including a 25-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. Helios were plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Five Partizan players scored in double figures. Guard Sandi Cebular (196-86) produced 15 points and guard Klemen Prepelic (191-92) added 13 points respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending Serbian champion moved-up to second place, which they share with Union Olimpija. Loser Helios still closes the standings with two games lost. Partizan will face Radnicki K. (#6) in Kragujevac in the next round. Helios will play on the road against Hemofarm (#10) in Vrsac and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
