Regular Season Round 4: Partizan - Krka 68-63
Date: October 23, 2011
Bottom-ranked Slovenian Krka is still unable to win any game. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. The hosts were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. Partizan made 23-of-28 charity shots (82.1 percent) during the game. 28 personal fouls committed by Krka helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Swingman Marko Cakarevic (200-88, agency: INVICTUS Sports Group) fired 11 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Center Miroslav Raduljica (213-88) chipped in 10 points and 6 rebounds. American guard Jimmy Baxter (198-80, college: S.Florida) produced 18 points and forward Jure Balazic (204-80) added 12 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Defending Serbian champion keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Maccabi T-A and Union Olimpija. Defending Slovenian champion Krka still closes the standings with four games lost. Partizan's next round opponent will be league's leader Maccabi T-A in Tel-Aviv and it will be for sure the game of the week.
