The game in Podgorica was also worth to mention about. 5th ranked Croatian Cibona (5-3) played at the court of sixth ranked Montenegrin Buducnost (5-3). Buducnost defeated Cibona 85-69. The game was mostly controlled by Buducnost. Cibona was better in third quarter 24-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Cibona 30-18 including 23 on the defensive glass. 27 personal fouls committed by Cibona helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Forward Nikola Vucevic (208-90, college: USC) orchestrated the victory by scoring 30 points and 9 rebounds (on 12-of-13 shooting from the field).
