The game with biggest result difference took place in Zagreb. Local Cedevita (12-3) beat 5th ranked Slovenian Union Olimpija (9-6) 93-75. The game was mostly controlled by Cedevita. Union Olimpija was better in second period 17-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a good game for forward Miro Bilan (213-89) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds. Swingman Marko Car (188-85) contributed with 18 points for the winners. Five Cedevita players scored in double figures. Cedevita's coach Drazen Anzulovic allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American forward Deon Thompson (203-88, college: N.Carolina) answered with 20 points and 5 rebounds and guard Jaka Blazic (193-90) added 15 points in the effort for Union Olimpija. Cedevita maintains second place with 12-3 record having just two points less than leader Maccabi T-A. Union Olimpija at the other side keeps the fifth position with six games lost. Cedevita will play against bottom-ranked Zlatorog (#14) in Lasko in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Union Olimpija will play at home against Zvezda (#10) in Beograd and hopes to get back on the winning track.
