Very predictable result in Tel-Aviv where first ranked Israeli Maccabi T-A (19-1) outscored 11th ranked Serbian Hemofarm (5-16) 85-64 on Monday. Maccabi T-A dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Hemofarm's 32. Maccabi T-A forced 26 Hemofarm turnovers. Hemofarm was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was power forward Lior Eliyahu (206-85, agency: Z.A.G. - Law Offices) who scored 28 points and 7 rebounds. American power forward Richard Hendrix (203-86, college: Alabama) chipped in 25 points and 8 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). At the other side the best for losing team was Montenegrin power forward Ivan Maras (208-86, agency: Beo Basket) who recorded a double-double by scoring 15 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists and center Djordje Gagic (210-90, agency: Interperformances) added 14 points and 10 rebounds respectively. They keep the eleventh position with 16 games lost. Maccabi T-A will face league's second-placed Cedevita in Zagreb in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
