The game in Ljubljana was also worth to mention about. 4th ranked Montenegrin Buducnost (17-8) played at the court of sixth ranked Slovenian Union Olimpija (14-12). Union Olimpija managed to secure a 4-point victory 72-68. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Buducnost. Buducnost was ahead by 8 points at the halftime before a 41-29 second half run of Union Olimpija. They also forced 23 Buducnost turnovers. Strangely Buducnost outrebounded Union Olimpija 32-20 including 22 on the defensive glass. 26 personal fouls committed by Buducnost helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Finnish point guard Sasu Salin (190-91) orchestrated the victory by scoring 15 points. Montenegrin guard Goran Jeretin (192-79, agency: Beo Basket) contributed with 14 points and 4 assists for the winners. Center Bojan Dubljevic (205-91, agency: Beo Basket) replied with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds and Serbian guard Bojan Krstovic (194-80) added 20 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) in the effort for Buducnost. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Union Olimpija maintains sixth position with 14-12 record. Defending Montenegrin champion Buducnost keeps the fourth place with eight games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
