The game in Split was also quite interesting. Second ranked Serbian Partizan (6-1) played at the court of 6th ranked Croatian KK Split (3-4). Partizan managed to secure a 7-point victory 79-72 on Sunday. KK Split trailed by 11 points after 3 quarters before a 26-22 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 72-79 at the end of the game. They outrebounded KK Split 40-23 including 27 on the defensive glass. American forward Drew Gordon (205-90, college: N.Mexico) fired a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Danilo Andusic (197-94) chipped in 21 points (made all of his eight free throws). Center Nikola Vujcic (211-78) produced 12 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Toni Dijan (205-83) added 13 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Four KK Split players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Partizan have a solid series of four victories in a row. Defending Serbian champion used an opportunity after Igokea lost their game and moved up joining them at the top position. Loser KK Split dropped to the fifth place with four games lost. They share the position with 7 other teams. Partizan's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Beograd Zvezda.
