Very predictable result when sixth ranked Montenegrin Buducnost (5-4) won against 12th ranked Croatian KK Zadar (3-6) in Podgorica 76-60 on Saturday. The game without a history. Buducnost led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Serbian forward Cedomir Vitkovac (201-82, agency: Beo Basket) nailed 14 points for the winning side and Finnish-American center Gerald Lee (208-87, college: ODU) accounted for 15 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Croatian-Bosnian power forward Jozo Brkic (212-86, agency: Interperformances) came up with 14 points and 5 rebounds and American point guard Chaisson Allen (192-89, college: Northeastern) added 8 points and 5 assists respectively for KK Zadar in the defeat. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending Montenegrin champion moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Crvena Zvezda and Radnicki KG. Loser KK Zadar keeps the twelfth position with six games lost. They share it with Siroki WWin. Buducnost will meet at home Radnicki KG (#6) in the next round. KK Zadar will play against MZT Skopje (#9) and hope to secure a win.
