Adriatic League top team - Bosnian Igokea (7-2) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed eighth ranked FYR Macedonian MZT Skopje (4-5) in Aleksandrovac 79-55. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of MZT Skopje. The game without a history. Igokea led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Serbian power forward Marko Brkic (206-82, agency: Beo Basket) stepped up and scored 18 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and Serbian Milan Dozet (203-79) chipped in 20 points (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). The best for the losing side was Gjorji Cekovski (203-79) with 14 points and 6 rebounds and Serbian power forward Uros Nikolic (207-87) scored 10 points and 7 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Igokea maintains first place with 7-2 record, which they share with Partizan. Defending FYR Macedonian champion MZT Skopje dropped to the seventh position with five games lost. They share it with 4 other teams. Igokea will play against bottom-ranked Szolnok (#14) in Szolnok in the next round which should be another easy win for them. MZT Skopje will play on the road against KK Zadar (#13) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
