Igokea held off Union Olimpija in Aleksandrovac tonight. Uros Nikolic came up with 24 points and 7 rebounds to pace the Bosnian team to 3-3 record. Union Olimpia fell at woeful 0-6 record after the loss. The teams stayed close throughout the opening quarter. The scoreboard read 17:17 after ten minutes. Igokea pulled ahead in the second frame. They limited the visitors to just 11 points and opened a 10-point halftime lead. Union Olimpija bounced back in the third term. The Slovenian powerhouse denied the deficit and evened things up at 53 with ten minutes remaining. But Igokea stormed back in the final period. They triggered a 21:8 run in the fourth quarter and silenced the Slovenian team. Branko Jorovic had 13 points, while Teddy Gipson debuted with 12 points for the hosts. Dragisa Drobnjak answered with 11 points for Union Olimpija. Alen Omic and Cedric Jackson provided 10 points each in the loss.
