There was a minor upset when Serbian Mega Vizura (1-1) was defeated on the road by Bulgarian Levski Sofia (1-1) 98-89. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 25-15. But Mega Vizura won third quarter 27-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Levski Sofia forced 21 Mega Vizura turnovers. American guard Brandon Heath (190-84, college: San Diego St.) notched 18 points and 7 assists to lead the effort and Hristo Zahariev (199-90) supported him with 17 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Even 12 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists by guard Nenad Miljenovic (194-93, agency: Beo Basket) did not help to save the game for Mega Vizura. Center Nikola Jokic (209-95, agency: Beo Basket) added 15 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists for the guests. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Mega Vizura's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Levski Sofia will play against KK Zadar on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Mega Vizura will play against Cibona to get more than just one victory in their record.
