Not a big story in a game when 12th ranked FYR Macedonian MZT Skopje (6-14) was defeated at home by fourth ranked Serbian Partizan (13-7) 63-55 on Saturday. MZT Skopje was trailing by 8 points at halftime but managed to get 1-point lead after three quarters before a 15-6 charge of Partizan, which allowed them to win the game. They dominated on the defensive end, holding MZT Skopje to just 6 points in fourth quarter. The best player for the winners was Milan Macvan (205-89) who scored 10 points and 7 rebounds. Guard Dragan Milosavljevic (198-89) chipped in 8 points and 6 rebounds. Partizan's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Bosnian-Montenegrin swingman Sead Sehovic (197-89) produced 19 points and 5 rebounds and Serbian Uros Lucic (207-83) added 10 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Partizan have an impressive seven-game winning streak. Defending Serbian champion maintains fourth position with 13-7 record. MZT Skopje lost third consecutive game. Defending FYR Macedonian champion keeps the twelfth place with 14 games lost. Partizan will meet at home bottom-ranked Levski Sofia (#14) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. MZT Skopje will play against Metalac in Valjevo and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
