Regular Season Round 21: Igokea - Un.Olimpija 83-77

We should mention about the upset which took place in Aleksandrovac, where higher ranked Slovenian Un.Olimpija (11-10) lost to thirteenth ranked Bosnian Igokea (6-15) in a road game 77-83. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Un.Olimpija. Un.Olimpija was ahead by 3 points at the halftime before a 43-34 second half run of Igokea. They made 23-of-27 charity shots (85.2 percent) during the game. Canadian guard Brady Heslip (188-90, college: Baylor) nailed 32 points (went 10 for 10 at the free throw line !!!) for the winning side and Serbian swingman Marko Cakarevic (200-88) accounted for 13 points and 8 rebounds. Guard Klemen Prepelic (191-92) came up with 24 points and 7 assists and Serbian point guard Marko Marinovic (183-83) added 13 points and 5 assists respectively for Un.Olimpija in the defeat. Four Un.Olimpija players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Defending Bosnian champion moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with MZT Skopje. Un.Olimpija at the other side keeps the fifth position with ten games lost. Igokea's next round opponent will be MZT Skopje (#12) on the road. Un.Olimpija will play against the league's second-placed Buducnost (#2) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
