An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Ljubljana. First ranked Montenegrin Buducnost faced their biggest opponent Slovenian Un.Olimpija. Guests from Podgorica (6-1) defeated host Un.Olimpija (4-3) 67-63. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Un.Olimpija. It looked good early as Un.Olimpija took a 5-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Buducnost had a 27-14 second period charge getting the lead and Un.Olimpija was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 63-67. Buducnost made 22-of-27 charity shots (81.5 percent) during the game, while Un.Olimpija only scored six points from the stripe. Un.Olimpija was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of Bosnian-Montenegrin swingman Suad Sehovic (196-87) who helped to win the game recording 13 points and 8 rebounds. Canadian guard Devoe Joseph (193-90, college: Oregon, agency: Beo Basket) contributed with 15 points for the winners. Serbian Sava Lesic (205-88, agency: Beo Basket) answered with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 17 rebounds and American-Bosnian guard Zack Wright (191-85, college: Central Mo.) added 10 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Un.Olimpija. Four Un.Olimpija players scored in double figures. Buducnost have an impressive series of five victories in a row. Defending Montenegrin champion maintains first place with 6-1 record. Un.Olimpija at the other side dropped to the fourth position with three games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Buducnost will play against Metalac (#9) in Valjevo in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Un.Olimpija will play on the road against KK Zadar (#10) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
