Regular Season Round 2: Zadar - Cedevita 76-92

Very expected game when KK Zadar (0-2) lost at home to Cedevita (2-0) 92-76. The game was mostly controlled by Cedevita. KK Zadar was better in second period 23-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Cedevita shot the lights out from three nailing 17 long-distance shots on high 54.8 percentage. The best player for the winners was American point guard Will Cherry (185-91, college: Montana) who scored 17 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists. The other American import forward Demetris Nichols (202-84, college: Syracuse) chipped in 17 points. Cedevita's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American guard Preston Knowles (187-89, college: Louisville) produced 14 points and 8 rebounds and Ive Ivanov (200-85, agency: PEPI SPORT) added 19 points respectively for the hosts. Five Cedevita and four KK Zadar players scored in double figures. Cedevita's next round opponent will be Igokea (#6) in Aleksandrovac where they are favorite. KK Zadar will play on the road against MZT Skopje (#10) and hope to win that game.
