Regular Season Round 1: Dynamic BG - KK Primorska 90-101 OT

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Serbian Dynamic BG (0-1) in Beograd on Wednesday night. Hosts were defeated by Slovenian KK Primorska (1-0) in overtime 101-90. The game was mostly controlled by KK Primorska. Dynamic BG managed to win fourth quarter 23-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening, at least not yet. The game turned upside-down in the last quarter, where Dynamic BG used huge pressure winning it 23-11 getting a tie at the end of regular time. They lost eventually overtime period 5-16. KK Primorska made 22-of-26 free shots (84.6 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. 29 personal fouls committed by Dynamic BG helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Croatian center Marijan Cakarun (204-90, agency: PEPI SPORT) stepped up and scored 19 points and 8 rebounds for the winners and Tadej Ferme (187-91, agency: PEPI SPORT) chipped in 20 points and 5 assists. At the losing side guard Milos Milisavljevic (193-93) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 9 rebounds and 11 assists and Lithuanian center Aurimas Majauskas (203-93, college: Sam Houston St., agency: Octagon Europe) scored 23 points and 6 rebounds. Five KK Primorska and four Dynamic BG players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. KK Primorska is looking forward to face Borac (#8) in Cacak in the next round. Dynamic BG will play at home against Teodo Tivat (#11) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
