Regular Season Round 2: KK Primorska - Borac 79-73

Serbian Borac (1-1) recorded a loss in Koper on Wednesday night. Visitors were defeated by Slovenian KK Primorska (2-0) 79-73. KK Primorska looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Borac's players. The best player for the winners was Croatian center Marijan Cakarun (204-90, agency: PEPI SPORT) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds. Vincentian center Shawn King (208-82, college: ORU, agency: Pensack Sports) chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds. Guard Ilija Djokovic (191-96) produced 25 points and Marko Stojadinovic (204-89) added 9 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. KK Primorska is looking forward to face Teodo Tivat (#11) on the road in the next round. Borac will play against Lovcen and is hoping to win this game.
